71-Year-Old Woman Looks Like She Just Turned 40 Thanks To Vegan Diet And Rainwater

                      

Annette Larkins doesn’t look a day over 40, thanks to the diet and lifestyle she maintains. She looks so young that people mistake her to be the daughter, when she’s out with her husband of 54 years, but I suppose he isn’t complaining.

Mrs. Larkins says the secret to her beauty lies in the raw vegan diet, consisting of organic vegetables, fruits, seeds and nuts grown in her own garden, she calls the ‘fountain of youth’. The woman doesn’t touch anything that has been cooked. And another strange thing she does is collect rainwater, to keep her garden blossoming, but also to drink. But the resident of Miami-Dade County, Florida, didn’t always have such a healthy lifestyle. In fact, she consumed meat regularly, as her husband used to own a meat factory way back in the 1960s. It was then that she decided to change her eating habits forever. And what a great decision that was. I mean, just  look at her!

The heavily pregnant actress was in the mood for something sweet and healthy as she strolled into Bristol Farms in West Hollywood on Saturday.

Halle had one thing in mind and it appeared she got what she wanted when she was seen exiting a few minutes later carrying a big plastic bowl of ready-to-eat fruit such as pineapple, melon, blueberries, strawberries and grapes.

The 46-year-old was looking summery fresh in a billowy long white dress with ruffled details that camouflaged her growing bump and gave her lots of leg room.

On her feet were a pair of comfortable T-strap brown leather sandals which must have felt great on such a warm day in the city.

Tall Women Face Higher Cancer Risks, Study Shows

Taller women may face a higher risk of many cancers than their shorter counterparts, according to a US study.

Researchers looked at a sample of nearly 145,000 postmenopausal women aged 50 to 79 for the analysis published in the US journal Cancer Epidemiology.

They found that each additional 10 centimetres of height was linked to a 13 per cent higher risk of getting cancer.

“Ultimately, cancer is a result of processes having to do with growth, so it makes sense that hormones or other growth factors that influence height may also influence cancer risk,” said lead author Geoffrey Kabat, senior epidemiologist at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in New York.
